Choreography has always been my favorite way to learn & expand as a dancer. There is something so rewarding about the repetition of a dance & movements that starts out unfamiliar to then watch it all come together like a puzzle. Also not to mention the beauty of when women sync up in motion with a similar collective prayer or intention.

I love teaching and learning this way because you get to leave the class with a huge dance vocabulary of new & different movements that you can then practice and apply anywhere in your dance journey.

A little about the flow of this workshop~

I encourage the participants to bring some new intentions, write down some & dreams they have for the upcoming year on their heart & into the workshop space! Dance is a powerful way to move energy in our life and embody the art of intention.

We will start with a quick journal prompt and intention setting together. Then we will warm up & move into a section of dance drills where we will break down & get familiar with all the movements that make up the choreography. After that we will learn the choreography and tie togther everything we just learned.

FAQ - Is this class is designed for all levels? If you are brand new to dance I encourage you to come challenge yourself and pick up what you can to carry over into your own personal practice. I will be providing lots of options and always encourage people in the space to listen to their bodies, go slow, & do what feels exploritive.

It is designed to bring inspiration, new perspective , and new movements into your dance vocabulary.
